A student made cookies to take home. With just a few weeks left in our first semester at Homecroft, Thanksgiving break behind us and Winter break up ahead, there is a lot to celebrate around here. We have had entire EBD programs come 12 times for Enrichments to see and work with 5 different guest artists and 17 volunteers over the course of two months. Alongside Glorius Martin, aka Glo, of the Abstract Pack, and Tish Jones, of Tru Art Speaks, we have had Dave Scherer, aka Agape, of Hip Hop Outreach, as well as Desdamona and Terrell Woods, aka Carnage, of the two-person spoken word/beatboxing/hip hop group, Ill Chemistry perform for and mentor students at the Enrichments. The end of the semester celebrations for each program will be happening here, at The Lab, next week to showcase all the accomplishments.
